Coders4Africa In Action - Strathmore University - @iLab Africa in Nairobi


This event will take place the 10th of February from 2PM to 5PM at @ilab Africa in Strathmore University Nairobi, Kenya.

Time: 2-5pm
The first goal of the meeting is to inform the community on the next Mobile Boot Camp. We will hold a code session and demo based on the technology you chose, in this session, developers with ideas are encouraged to bring their ideas on board so that their colleagues can help them refine their ideas.

The other goal is to bring together under one roof local programmers and startups companies, Tech Firms, interesting projects and local Kenyan enterprises. The idea is for them to l showcase their activities but also work with the audience in trying to find solutions to their current IT projects.

We will have presentations from:

  • ISYS Presentation(Paul) 10 mins

  • Linux Security(frankie Onuonga)10 mins
  • Mcalc Presentation(Harris Dindi)10 ins
  • OES competition progress presentations(3 mins each)
  • Highlights on the mobile Boot Camp
  • Highlight on the C4A taskforce(Responsibilities and tasks and activities)

Call for papers

Coders4Africa requests that those developers who have a project or product to submit your project proposals and details. The whole idea is to help you pitch them. Ideas and working system will be supported by helping you get sponsors and funders for the same systems.On the same note, fellow developers will help you refine your idea.

We will also help you in deploying the systems and testing them.
