MY MOVING HOME
MY MOVING HOME which is told in conversing, acting, music and dancing. This is a play inspired by the true story of Rogers Otieno who moved from the countryside to the city and was overwhelmed by the culture shock. He was rescued by Abdi, a gangster who acted as his big brother.However, when he joined high school, he realized that it was pay back time and was now the one to keep Abdi out of prison. This did by stealing, mugging and hurting other people close to him, including his first love, Helen, the caring Eritrean beauty.
The play will be staged this year on 7th and 8th of August 3pm and 6 pm at Alliance Francaise Nairobi , before it tours other parts of Nairobi, Mombasa and Uganda.
Advance tickets for the Alliance Francaise show are available for Kshs 300.Tickets at the gate will be Kshs 500.
